The Binjiang District People’s Court held that a monetized self-media account operator engaged in unfair competition by publishing and disseminating AI-generated misinformation about Alibaba’s corporate affiliations without conducting even a minimum level of review or providing visible AI labelling, despite deriving only negligible revenue from the article.
