Our Culture Is Based on Diversity

We are proud of our differences. Our Institute is living proof that diversity of experiences, life situations and cultures fosters creativity and innovation. Our diversity lays the foundation for innovation in research, and our research sets trends for the future.

Employees from 27 countries (as of 30 March 2026) shape the cultural diversity at the Institute, with more than a third of all employees coming from abroad. In the research area, this figure is as high as half (32 out of 62).
